CELL GROUP
OCCCA Fellowship or Small Group
1. Goals:
a) To build and consolidate relationship. Through open sharing, affirming
and submitting to one another, members will build trust and bond together
in Christ
b) To experience the dynamics of the Spirit-filled community: pray, love,
care, serve, and exalt one another.
c) To cultivate a spiritual atmosphere through worship, Bible study,
prayer, and fellowship where members will grow and mature.
d) To help members to discover their ministry identity (calling, gifts and
team style) and to become better servant leaders.
e) To encourage each other to do good work.
f) To reach out to new comers to join the fellowship.
g) To honor and glorify God in lives and deeds.
2. Format:
Meeting in church or homes; Fridays or Saturdays; 9-16 people in
a fellowship (consider to divide when exceeds 16); fellowship leader
will
provide leadership and recruit members to help.
3. Content:
Worship, Bible study, prayer, caring, serving, multiply (aim to
add one new member every two months).
4. Strategy
a) Teach OCCCA members about body life through a series of preaching.
b) Train fellowship leaders in May (two Saturday mornings). Fellowship
leaders will be recruited from present small group leaders and potential
leaders. Will work out the content of the training sessions.
c) Fellowship formation-Criteria to consider: where members live, Christian
maturity, friendship, age of adult and children.
d) The activities of each fellowship should be consistent.
e) Prepare a Fellowship Operation Handbook.
f) Quarterly combine all the fellowship groups for a joint activity.
g) Do an evaluation every six months.
